What is EarthGuard?

EarthGuard’s mission is to stabilize
global warming by installing large-scale deflection arrays near the Lagrange Point L1, deflecting approximately 0.26 degree of incoming sun irradiation and therefore reducing solar energy reaching planet Earth.

Lagrange Point L1 (L1) is located some 900 thousand miles from Earth towards the Sun and is the point where gravitational forces are balanced.

No perceivable effects for ecosystems on earth, EG will not disrupt any natural processes, not produce highly localized effects, not change spectral compositions in a drastic way or cast any shadows.
Solution
EarthGuard will safely stabilize global warming within our lifetime.
By reducing global temperatures versus current warming trends, time is bought to allow planet Earth to stay below the UN Climate Agreement targets, while long-term solutions can be implemented to combat global warming and climate change.

EarthGuard deployment
After release from the launch vehicle, the modules will begin their independent journey to a stable point near the Earth-Sun L1, where they will self-assemble into a fully aligned, advanced optical array.

Solution
The largest climate action humanity can take not just symptomatic, EarthGuard will provide the largest prevention of GHG Releases.
The reduction of solar irradiation achieved by EarthGuard will directly lower temperatures, reduce active layer depths and thus prevent the thawing of massive volumes of polar ice and permafrost.
